In Bruges

In Bruges (2008)

84251eb54a-cbb9-4b00-b7e1-2f8c07178042_625x352Two hitmen hide out in the title Belgian town after a job gone bad. The plot develops unpredictably, and there are great moments of absurdity and comedy, but it’s all believable because the characters are well-rounded, and the writer-director gives each of them some sympathetic moments. The more the movie progresses, the more elegant it feels.

This was a very well made movie. Unusual and different without being overtly strange and off putting. I also found out that Colin Farrel as the most expressive eye brows in modern movies. There were a couple times I was sure there had to be some for of special effects involved.
