The Social Network (2010)
The story of how the Facebook website was created – and the battle over who was responsible for it – is a character study of Mark Zuckerberg as much as it is a docudrama. The movie does a dynamic job of dramatizing the events and relationships in question, and smartly leaves the viewers to draw many of their own conclusions. The script by Aaron Sorkin features his usual clever dialogue. As Zuckerberg, Jesse Eisenberg plays a socially inept brainiac with a hard protective shell, but he also lets us see his inner workings.
