25th Hour (2002)
The chronicle of the last day of a man’s life before he goes to prison for seven years. An elegiac tone throughout culminates in a heart-rending conclusion. Director Spike Lee artfully incorporates the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks into the fabric of the film.
