Freddy Got Fingered (2001)
A 28-year-old man who lives in his parents’ basement dreams of becoming an animator.
My usual rating ruler doesn’t really work on something like this. It indicates that this movie is between okay and good, but those words are too weak to be accurate. This aggressive, bilious, random shock-based anti-comedy actually contains a few funny moments, but those are accidental. I don’t think the movie is trying to be funny. Mostly, I just stared slack-jawed, mesmerized by Tom Green’s no-holds-barred brand of… “entertainment”. It renders all future gross-out comedies redundant.
